A little more about me...
What to expect from your session
Whether you're updating your headshots or doing a creative portrait session, my goal is for the photos I take to feel uniquely YOU. I want to get to know you, and collaborate with you to create something that we can both be proud of.
Something I always tell my clients is that I am all about having fun and creating a welcoming, safe space for them. Photoshoots can be nerve-wracking, especially if you've never been in front of a camera before. As someone who has modeled in the past and has thought so many times "I don't know what to do with my hands", I get it! And I'm here to guide you through it. We will be chatting away the whole time, listening to music and I will be your personal cheerleader. I'll give you prompts for posing, capture great candid moments, and make sure that you are comfortable and enjoying yourself. You're basically hiring a bestie with a camera!

My style
In terms of my photographic style, I'm particularly drawn to bold colors and dynamic lighting in my portraits, and get really excited at the idea of building props or sets if a concept calls for it. At my core, I'm a visual storyteller, which comes from my theater background.
I like incorporating unique elements to my photoshoots, whether it's an editing style, a fun outfit, or out-of-the-box idea. I find inspiration in a lot of different things, and have an ever-growing list of concepts I'd like to tackle at some point in my career.

My goal in my work is to bring out the best version of who you are. Establishing connections with people through photography is so rewarding, and I love seeing a person relax into the moment and show me their authentic self.
One of my biggest lessons I carry with me from my work in theater is to HAVE FUN. If you're not enjoying the work, you're not making it worth your time. It's so important to me that you come out of a session not only feeling super confident and happy, but feeling like you had a great time.
While my current work focuses more on portraits, relationships, and headshots, I'm open to different ideas and concepts to photograph. Let's make something super cool together!

What services do you offer?
My main specialties are creative portraits, relationships, and headshots, but I love working on other subjects including theater production photography, boudoir, engagements, pet portraits and personal branding. I'm always looking for various photography opportunities, and am happy to discuss ideas you have in more detail if you shoot me a message below!
How many pictures will I receive?
The number of pictures I send to clients depends on the length of the photoshoot and the content. For example, I send 20+ edited photos for my individual 1-hour portrait sessions, or 40+ photos for 90 minute relationship sessions. Custom quotes can have varying final edits dependent on shoot length.
What locations do you shoot at?
I like to tailor my photoshoot locations to the best possible settings for each session. Sessions can be done in-studio or outdoors, which will be part of the planning discussion. I am also open to traveling in and around the tri-state area! Studio rental fees and travel fees may be additional charges to your session.
What is the booking process?
If you're interested in working with me, you can send me a message via my Contact page. I will get back to you within 48 hours or by Monday if it's over the weekend, and we will schedule a video call to chat and see if we'll make a good fit! If we vibe with each other, we'll schedule a date for the photoshoot, in which you will put down a mandatory non-refundable $100 retainer fee to secure your date and time. For headshots, the retainer is $75. I will also send you a client contract for you to look over and sign.
Do you provide the RAW images?
I do not provide the RAW images for any of my sessions. RAW files directly out of the camera are basically unprocessed data, and it takes specific software and a lot of work to edit them and achieve a final look. Editing is such an important part of the process of creating final images, and allows me to deliver the best possible versions of the photos to you!
Do you offer any add-ons to your sessions?
Yes! I offer the following session add-ons:
1. Additional hourly photographer rate at $100 per hour (excludes headshots), with 2 outfit changes and 10 more edited photos
2. Additional 30 minute photographer rate at $50 per half hour (headshots ONLY), with 2 outfit changes and 2 more edited photos
3. Additional edited photos can be purchased for $10 per image
When will I receive the final images?
My standard turn-around time is 14 business days. If you require a faster delivery time, I can accommodate for an additional fee.
What is your rescheduling/cancelation policy?
Clients must inform me of the need to reschedule no less than 5 days before the session date. All rescheduling requests will be subject to an additional non-refundable $100 retainer so as to fairly compensate me for my time. Clients are able to reschedule with me up to 2 times.
For cancellations, I require a minimum of 72 hours notice before the scheduled session date.
Do you offer printing services?
Not yet. ;) Currently, I'm only offering digital albums for clients due to my business still being quite new and small-scale. But it's definitely a goal to be able to provide prints and albums for clients in the future! For now, I'm happy to recommend some online printing services that I've used personally if you're interested.
